Exhibitions

Exhibitions

Paintings, sculptures, and other work shown in galleries from 2010 to 2025.

In Another Light, 2025

A solo show of paintings at Spike's Coffee House in SF. This series was a reflection on moving in with my partner and leaving one home to build another together.

Pyramid Scheme, 2023

A group show at Bass & Reiner, an art gallery in SF.

Each artist invited 5 more until the room was full.

I made this track for it, tongue in cheekily, including the lyrics "use the art to wash the money."

Remains to Be Seen, 2022

A group show at An.ä.log Gallery in SF.

Slippage, 2020

A group installation with Angie Allen and Laura Van Duren. All three of us showed on the walls and played off each other's work.

Incline Gallery x An.ä.log, 886 Capp Street, SF.

Staging Gallery, 2019

I installed my work in the Minnesota Street Project studio building, SF, to document some new ideas as well as invite other artists and friends to see the work and hang out.

Songs from a Room, 2018

A show at Oros Gallery in SF, culminating in a live screen printing event held at the space.

Tartine Bakery, 2017

A show of paintings at Tartine Bakery in SF, curated by Andrew Berg.

Replay Value, 2016

A show at Western Relics, a record shop and art space in the Outer Sunset.

Performances

Pleeay shows since 2022, across the San Francisco Bay Area and abroad.

Pleeay performances throughout the years.

Happenings

One-off public events I've organized or taken part in, from freeform beach meetups to live printing events.

Show & Tell with Tony Bravo, 2023

An evening at Four One Nine with San Francisco Chronicle arts writer Tony Bravo and San Francisco Ballet dancer Jasmine Jimison. Castle, PLEEAY’s fearless ballet representative, brought an independent band’s perspective to a conversation about equity, institutional culture, and performer safety in the ballet world.

We dressed as characters from The Nutcracker. We even made it into the SF Chronicle!

Beach drumming, 2021

An informal meetup at Ocean Beach with artists and musicians. Every Sunday we brought drums, played, and looked at the ocean.

Some weeks it was just me. Some weeks there were a lot of people, friends and strangers both.

Live screen printing, 2018

A printing event at the gallery during Songs from a Room. People brought their own shirts and we printed them on the spot.
